Will the Centre release its share of funds for Metro Rail work?

Since 2017, the State has been requesting the Centre for financial assistance and carrying out the project as a 50:50 joint venture. Since these appeals did not yield any result, the State sanctioned ₹12,000 crore for the project in the budget estimates for 2024-25.
