Vinesh Phogat’s appeal: CAS expected to give decision by this time

The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) decided by 6 p.m. local time on Saturday on Indian wrestler Vinesh Phogat’s appeal against her Olympic disqualification for being overweight. The Indian Olympic Association expected a positive resolution. Vinesh sought joint silver alongside her opponent, represented by senior counsel Vidushpat Singhania and Harish Salve.
