Three traffic police officers suspended for taking bribes

Three traffic police officers in New Delhi were suspended for accepting bribes in front of Ghazipur police station. These officers, associated with the Kalyanpuri circle, had set up a hut for extortion purposes, demanding and dividing bribe money from individuals for the release of their vehicles. Social media footage showed an assistant sub-inspector and his team engaging in these illegal activities. Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena acknowledged the post and initiated a preliminary investigation, which led to the suspension and a comprehensive departmental inquiry against the officers.
