The battle for home at Vishalgad fort 

In mid-July this year, the 11th-century ruin that Chhatrapati Shivaji once fled to was witness to communal violence, when a mosque, a dargah and homes around it were attacked. Snehal Mutha and Gautam Doshi visited in the days that followed, when the Maharashtra government carried out a demolition drive beginning a day after the riots, despite heavy rainfall
