ISIS operative on NIA’s most wanted list arrested in Delhi

Delhi Police’s special cell apprehended an Islamic State (IS) operative, Rizwan Ali, on the Delhi-Faridabad border, preventing a major attack ahead of Independence Day. Ali had been on the ‘most wanted’ list after escaping Pune Police’s custody in July 2023 and had a Rs 3 lakh bounty on his head. An FIR under UAPA has been filed.
