Amid attacks, Bangladeshi Hindus stage biggest street protest yet

Prof Muhammad Yunus, head of Bangladesh’s interim government, condemned attacks on minority communities as ‘heinous.’ Thousands of protesters in major cities demonstrated for the safety and security of Hindus, demanding justice following numerous incidents of violence after the ousting of Sheikh Hasina’s government. Yunus urged protection for all religious minorities in Bangladesh.
