Moscow jails US-Russian citizen for treason, donating $50 to pro-Ukraine charity

Ksenia Karelina, a 32-year-old US-Russian citizen, was sentenced to 12 years in a Russian prison for donating $50 to a pro-Ukraine charity. She was detained in Yekaterinburg in January. The Russian court charged her with high treason, claiming the funds were used to support Ukrainian armed forces. The United States criticized the arrest as baseless.
