Mobs vowing to ‘guard revolution’ attack ex-Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina’s supporters with rods

Supporters of ousted Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina were attacked as they attempted to rally at the anniversary of her father’s assassination. The interim government, led by Muhammad Yunus, aims to hold elections soon and has invited UN investigators to probe the violence that led to Hasina’s removal, which resulted in numerous deaths and detentions.
