A UK astronomy student, Tom Bickle, discovered a hypervelocity object hurtling through space at one million miles per hour. Classified as either a low-mass star or brown dwarf, this object may escape the Milky Way’s gravitational pull. An unusual origin is suggested, possibly from a supernova or ejection from a star cluster.
