After Kursk, Russia declares emergency in Belgorod amid increased Ukrainian attacks

Russian Belgorod governor Vyacheslav Gladkov declared a regional emergency after continuous Ukrainian attacks destroyed homes and caused civilian casualties. This move follows similar federal-level emergencies. Simultaneously, a Russian missile hit a Ukrainian shopping mall, resulting in numerous deaths and injuries, as the conflict between Russia and Ukraine persists since the February 2022 invasion.
