Bangladesh violence: ‘Safe but don’t know for how long. We keep crying in fear’

Reports of targeted attacks on religious and ethnic minorities have led to fear among Hindus in Bangladesh. Nobel laureate Muhammad Yunus and student leaders called for peace. Cultural activists demanded justice and security, while Transparency International Bangladesh condemned the violence. European Union officials in Dhaka also expressed concern about the attacks on minorities’ properties and places of worship.
