After PM Modi’s trip to Russia that caused ripples, Rajnath headed for US

Defence minister Rajnath Singh will visit Washington this month following PM Modi’s recent trip to Russia. Key discussions with US Defence Secretary Lloyd J Austin will include enhancing bilateral strategic-military ties and addressing delays in delivering jet engines for India’s Tejas fighters. Singh will also aim to strengthen ‘Make in India’ initiatives with US defence companies.
