Unacceptable: Muslim Women for Harris withdraws support after Palestinian speaker refused slot

​They wanted a slot for a Palestinian-American speaker at the Democratic National Convention. Wednesday evening, they got a call from the organizers and the reply was ‘no’ following which Muslim Women for Harris announced that they are disbanding and can’t continue to support Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. “This is a terrible message to send to Democrats. Palestinians have the right to speak about Palestine. We pray that the DNC and VP Harris team makes the right decision before this convention is over. For the sake of each of us,” the statement from Muslim Women for Harris said.
