Harvard resolves lawsuit alleging professor’s harassment, intimidation

Harvard University and three students resolved a federal lawsuit claiming the institution overlooked sexual harassment complaints against professor John Comaroff and allowed intimidation tactics. The 2022 lawsuit, dismissed without costs, accused Comaroff of unwanted advances and threats to students’ careers. Settlement terms weren’t disclosed, but the students’ courage in speaking out was lauded.
