California hospital sued for failing to notify family of daughter’s death for nearly a year

The family of Jessie Peterson is seeking $25 million in damages from a California hospital, claiming the facility failed to inform them of her death for nearly a year. Peterson, a Type 1 diabetic, died shortly after asking her mother to pick her up from the hospital where she was admitted.
